Welcome to the Piscataway High School Orchestra. This organization has grown into a nationally recognized and award winning orchestra. We are proud of our orchestra, and hope you are equally proud to be a member of this orchestra. Besides building numerous friendships and lasting memories, some other events that take place are: trips to the New York Philharmonic, playing chamber music at Pizzaria Uno night, performing in chamber groups for other venues, bi-annual trips abroad, and of course the experience of making great music with a great orchestra.

This year we are planning a trip to Boston, MA. where we will compete nationally with the “Festivals of Music” program. This is an extended four day trip that you can and hopefully will participate in, however it is purely on a volunteer basis. More information regarding the trip and trip cost will be coming out in the next month or so.

As a member of this group you will be expected to uphold certain responsibilities in order to continue our great tradition of excellence. Please refer to Piscataway H.S. Orchestra Handbook to clarify any questions or concerns you might have regarding the orchestra, and hopefully omit potential for any misunderstandings.

Please always remember that the ultimate goal is that you leave Piscataway with a memorable and positive musical experience, and that our love for music will in some way promote yours.
